The MNACEP EM Summit will be held on May 7, 2026, at Union Depot in St. Paul, and we are seeking Minnesota’s best and brightest residents to showcase their contributions to Emergency Medicine by hosting a Poster Presentation session during the EM Summit.

- Clinical Research
- Process Improvement
- Interesting Case Presentations
Important Dates:
- Submission window opens on December 1, 2025 (Form will not open until Dec. 1)
- Deadline for submissions is March 31, 2026
- Notifications of poster selection is April 15, 2026
Poster FAQs:
What topics are you accepting for the poster presentations?
Topics should include new and innovative approaches to clinical care, workflows or
processes in the emergency department. Examples may include management of boarding,
use of artificial intelligence, telemedicine, etc. You may also submit interesting case
presentations.
What is the format of the poster?
Clinical research and process improvement posters should follow the format of a
traditional scientific abstract including:
· Title
· Authors
· Disclosures
· Objectives
· Methods
· Results
· Limitations
· Conclusions
Interesting case presentations should follow the below format:
· Chief complaint
· History of present illness
· Physical exam, patient images
· Laboratory and imaging results
· Case discussion with three bulleted take home points or pearls
What size poster is accepted?
36″ high by 48″ wide
How much time will I have to present?
Poster presentations will occur in the mornings with attendees rotating to each poster. Plan for a 3-5 minute presentation followed by time for questions.
