MNACEP has many committees and we encourage members to get involved in one (or two) of them.

MNACEP Committees

This committee is charged with planning the annual Emergency Medicine Symposium that is held each winter. The committee members select topics, assist in identifying and securing speakers, and assist with other needs for the event. The group meets 6-8 times each year for 1-hour sessions to plan this event.

This committee is composed of leaders of the MNACEP Board of Directors including the Treasurer. The committee is responsible for developing an annual budget, advising the chapter on investments and reporting to the board with any financial decisions tasked upon them. This task force meets four times a year for 1-hour sessions.

MNACEP takes pride in the advocacy work we do for our members and patients. This committee helps to develop the annual legislative priorities, helps develop and lead the annual Physicians Day at the Capitol, and assists MNACEP’s lobbying team with outreach to Congressional and state leaders on issues important to our members. The Task Force meets 8-10 times a year for 1-hour sessions.
