Action Alerts
Throughout the summer months, the Policy and Advocacy Task Force have been diligently working to create resources that will help educate our members about the legislative process. One of these initiatives is the Advocacy Alert system, and we need your assistance to make it effective. During the Legislative Session, we may require support from our members to contact their legislators quickly. Our advocacy alert system will allow us to notify you via email, and we have implemented an SMS system for even quicker communication.
To ensure you are included in this important initiative, we ask you to provide MNACEP with your cell phone number. This will enable us to send you advocacy alerts via text messaging when your assistance is urgently needed. Rest assured, we will only contact you when necessary, and your phone number will remain confidential; we will not share it with anyone.
Please take a moment to complete this form and share your cell phone number for SMS Action Alerts. Together, we can advocate effectively for you, Emergency Medicine, and our patients during the legislative session. Thank you for your support.

Contact UsSupport Minnesota Emergency Physician Action Committee (MEPAC)
MNACEP Members: Advocacy is one of the many main focus areas for MNACEP, and our advocacy efforts include a political action committee, the Minnesota Emergency Physician Action Committee (MEPAC).
The changing environment of healthcare and legislation affecting emergency medicine has made it essential that our voice be heard by Minnesota legislators.

The purpose of the non-partisan MEPAC is to aid emergency physicians in the quality care of patients through our legislative work.
It is important for us as physicians to play a vital role in healthcare legislation that impacts emergency medicine everyday.
We work hard for you, but we need your help.
We ask that you please consider contributing to the MEPAC so we can continue to have an impact. There are several ways in which you can contribute.
Thank you for your consideration,
Drew Zinkel, MD, FACEP
MEPAC Treasurer
