About Us

Who is MNACEP?

MNACEP has been serving members for over 35 years. We are a diverse group of over 400 emergency physicians including academicians, private practice physicians, board certified, non-board certified, rural, urban, community, residents, medical students, practicing in various settings throughout Minnesota. The MNACEP board relies on member input to develop and guide the activities of the chapter. MNACEP represents the interests of all Minnesota emergency physicians. MNACEP is YOU!

Mission of MNACEP

The Minnesota Chapter of The American College of Emergency Physicians (MNACEP) exists to support quality emergency medical care, and to protect the interests of emergency physicians and the patients they serve. MNACEP will advocate for the rights of physicians and their patients to assure the delivery of the highest quality of emergency care. MNACEP will work together for the common goal of furthering the specialty of emergency medicine in Minnesota.

MNACEP Membership- Why It's Important to You

Many of the issues that affect your practice of medicine are determined at the national level. However, an increasing number of important issues are also being decided at the state and local level. That’s why you need an advocate that can effectively represent your interests on all fronts – from Capitol Hill to the Minnesota Medical Association. Your dual membership in national ACEP and MNACEP provides cohesive representation for the specialty. Other benefits to you include
•Continuing medical education meetings and resources
•Local networking opportunities
•Leadership opportunities
•Policies addressing local issues
